How to create a Revision Schedule

  1. Step one: Subject Assessment and Materials

    • List your subjects: Make a list of all of your subjects, the corresponding A Level exam dates and deadline dates.
    • Gather your materials: Collect textbooks, notes, past papers, and any other necessary resources for each subject.
  2. Step two: How much time do you have?

    • Consider how much time is left until your exams and how many hours a day you can commit to studying until then.
  3. Step three: Make a schedule

    • Grab a calendar or planner to allocate specific time slots for each subject and topic based on your available time and subject priorities.
    • Think about the difficulty of each subject and how confident you feel. Prioritise topics you feel less sure about.
  4. Step four: Set realistic goals

    • Break down your revision into manageable chunks and only focus on one or two topics per study session to stop you from getting overwhelmed.
    • Remember to schedule breaks for yourself to rest and recharge during your study sessions.
  5. Step five: Get to it!

    • Regularly review your schedule and adjust it to your needs.
    • Use past papers to assess your revision progress.
