Assessment
To achieve this full qualification you will need to take 3 written examinations which will thoroughly test your knowledge of the course syllabus and your understanding of psychology and its various elements.
Paper 1: this 2 hour written examination carries 33.3% of the weight of your A Level grade and will assess your knowledge of the content from topics: Social influence, memory, attachment, and psychopathology. This will be achieved through a mixture of multiple choice, short answer and extended writing questions.
Paper 2: this 2 hour written examination carries 33.3% of the weight of your A Level grade and will assess your knowledge of the content taught in the following topics: Approaches in psychology, biopsychology, and research methods. This will be achieved through a mixture of short and long answer questions, as well as multiple choice questions.
Paper 3: this 2 hour written examination carries 33.3% of the weight of your A Level grade and will assess your knowledge of the content taught on topics from the issues and debates in psychology, and topics from the chosen optional topics.
Please Note: in order to complete this qualification you will need to take the standard A Level examinations. Dates for these exams are available on the AQA website, and you will need to book onto these yourself.
These exams also come with a fee separate from the cost of this course.
