The first part of my life worked around bringing up my 3 kids and really still does (eldest is 15). It left me with very small amount of time to do things I wanted to do and absolutely no time to visit college/university. This course has given me what I wanted, which is independence and the chance to become self employed. I can work around the kids, providing in house counselling services later on in the evening or weekends for some extra pocket money. Once they are old enough I will go full time, but it just helps because I now have options.

It wasn't my idea to study at home.. it was actually a gift for christmas last year. I decided to give it a go and started the course mid January. Throughout the course I have had nothing but a good experience, with my tutor providing timely feedback and the support team being very helpful.

The staff were so friendly and helped me set up an instalment plan to pay the rest of my bill off. I got given access one hour after I signed up, other providers told me it can take up to a week to get enrolled with them so went with association of learning instead. I did this Level 3 Course above over the duration of one year. All the content was clear from the start, and over the 7 modules I was guided through the process completely. All my emails were answered promptly, and clearly. Even though my tutor changed near the end of the course, it was a seamless transfer. If I do any more Distance Learning it will be with the Association of Learning.

I've just successfully completed the diploma in Counselling. The course was both interesting and stimulating. I got my certificate after 2 weeks of finishing the course. I chose to pay over the 12 months and took my time to ensure I got the highest mark possible on each unit. I also balanced this course whilst working 25 hours a week in my current job role. I am now excited to hand my notice in to get prepared to start my new job as an apprentice at a beauty salon and this course has inspired me so much and I am glad I chose to do it!
