The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation course introduces a structured approach to combining PRINCE2 project management with agile values, behaviours and ways of working. It is designed to help learners understand how effective governance and control can be maintained while projects remain flexible, collaborative and responsive to change.

Course Units
Qualification Title: PRINCE2 Agile Foundation
The course is divided into nine units, following the PeopleCert PRINCE2 Agile Foundation syllabus:
Unit 1: The agile mindset
Unit 2: Blending agile and PRINCE2 project management
Unit 3: Stakeholder engagement
Unit 4: Agile leadership basics
Unit 5: Risk and change control
Unit 6: Progress tracking
Unit 7: Agile roles and duties
Unit 8: Scalable agility
Unit 9: Value-driven thinking
Assessment
Each of the nine units includes assessment work that you submit for marking, so you receive feedback on your understanding as you go and are prepared before you sit the examination.
The PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification itself is assessed through an external examination set and administered by PeopleCert.
The examination consists of 40 multiple-choice questions and lasts 60 minutes. It is a closed-book examination, and a score of 60% (24 out of 40) is required to pass. There are no prerequisites for the Foundation examination.
You must pass the examination to achieve the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification.
The cost of your examination is included in the course fee. You do not need to purchase a PeopleCert exam voucher separately. You are responsible for booking your own examination, and we cannot guarantee availability for any preferred examination date or time.
Required Knowledge
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is suitable for newcomers to project management as well as professionals who want to develop or update their knowledge of PRINCE2 and agile ways of working.
Previous project-management experience may be helpful, but it is not required.
Awarding Body
Upon successfully passing the applicable examination, you will receive the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation certification issued by PeopleCert.
PeopleCert is the official certification body responsible for administering PRINCE2 qualifications and examinations.
PRINCE2 Agile certificates are valid for three years. To maintain the certification beyond that, PeopleCert requires 20 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which can be collected through PeopleCert Plus membership.

Learners receive access to online course materials and expert tutor support. Up to twelve months of course access is available, allowing you to work through the course at a pace that suits your existing commitments.
Learner support services are also available to assist with general questions relating to your studies.
