About This Course
The PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner course is designed for professionals who want to strengthen their project management expertise by combining the structured governance and control of PRINCE2 Project Management with agile ways of working.
Throughout the course, you will explore how to tailor PRINCE2 Agile to different project environments, guide agile delivery, manage work by stages and apply agile principles, tools and techniques. You will also develop your understanding of business value, stakeholder engagement, team collaboration and flexible project governance.
The course is delivered entirely online, allowing you to study around your work and personal commitments. You will receive 12 months of course access, with approximately 15–20 hours of study time, and can progress through the materials at your own pace.
This course prepares you for the official PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner examination. After passing the examination and meeting the prerequisite requirements, you will receive the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate issued by PeopleCert.

Qualification Title: PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner
The course is divided into nine units, following the PeopleCert PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner syllabus:
Unit 1: Tailoring PRINCE2 Agile to any project
Unit 2: Guiding agile delivery
Unit 3: Managing by stages
Unit 4: Applying agile principles
Unit 5: Delivering business value
Unit 6: Supporting agile mindsets
Unit 7: Applying agile techniques
Unit 8: Engaging stakeholders early
Unit 9: Governing with flexibility
Assessment
Each of the nine units includes assessment work that you submit for marking, so you receive feedback on your understanding as you go and are prepared before you sit the examination.
This course prepares you for one 150-minute, open-book examination consisting of 50 multiple-choice questions. A score of 60% (30 out of 50) is required to pass.
To achieve the certification, you must pass the official PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner examination.
The cost of your examination is included in the course fee. You do not need to purchase a PeopleCert exam voucher separately. You are responsible for booking your own examination time-slot through PeopleCert, and exam availability, scheduling and booking terms are controlled by PeopleCert.
Required Knowledge
Applicants must hold PRINCE2 Agile Foundation (Version 2) or any PRINCE2 Agile Version 1 certification. Evidence of the prerequisite must be provided before examination results are released.
Awarding Body
PeopleCert is the certification body responsible for issuing the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner certificate. Learners must pass the official examination and meet the prerequisite requirements to receive the certification.
PRINCE2 Agile certificates are valid for three years. To maintain the certification beyond that, PeopleCert requires 20 CPD (Continuing Professional Development) points, which can be collected through PeopleCert Plus membership.
PRINCE2 Agile combines structured project governance with agile ways of working and is relevant to professionals involved in project management, agile delivery, product delivery, business analysis and project support.
