Assessment

This course is assessed through a combination of online assignments and practical demonstrations, with no external examination required. Both units include observed skills assessments (e.g., CPR, choking) on infant/child manikins in line with Resuscitation Council (UK) guidelines. Assignments are submitted online. There are no compulsory hours in workplace settings. Certificates are valid for three years, after which retraining is advised.

Required Knowledge

No entry requirements except a minimum age of 14.
