Unit 1: Define Workplace Health and Its Importance to Productivity

Unit 2: Explain the Role and Attributes of a Health Champion

Unit 3: Plan Physical Activity Sessions, Including Behaviour‑Change Principles and Safeguarding Adults

Unit 4: Understand Mental Health Conditions, Nutrition and Hydration in the Workplace

Unit 5: Conduct Workforce Research and Insight to Plan Sessions

Unit 6: Run a Health Campaign, Carry Out Risk Assessments and Facilitate Safe, Inclusive Activity Field

Assessment

This course is assessed through an internally assessed portfolio of evidence, such as workbooks, reflections, campaign materials, session plans, and observations, with external quality assurance by NCFE. No external examinations are required. If a business-based work placement is included, it will support real-work assessments, but simulation in a classroom setting is also permitted for practical tasks.

Required Knowledge

Learners must be aged 16+ and need no prior qualifications.
A Level 2 health or sport background may help, but is not required.
Suitable for beginners and those seeking progression.

Upon completing your course, you will receive a certificate from NCFE, a respected educational charity with over 170 years’ experience.

Enrolment in an NCFE CACHE course grants you two years’ access to the NCFE CACHE Alumni network and its resources.
