This course is assessed through assignments designed to test your knowledge of the course materials. You will access learning materials and submit work online via our learner management system. An expert assessor will mark your work and provide guidance throughout the programme. Learners must complete a work placement of at least 175 hours in a real work environment to support their learning. The placement can be in various settings, such as residential care homes or hospitals.
Learners must be at least 16. Require 5 GCSEs at A-C (or 9-4), usually including English and Maths. A good reference for attendance and punctuality is often needed. Some require Level 2 Health and Social Care.
Upon completing your course, you’ll receive a certificate recognising your achievement.
