Association of Learning are looking for individuals to join our growing team of tutors at our highly rated distance learning centre.
We currently have a limited number of vacancies for tutors needed to assist our learners in studying their accredited counselling courses.
You’ll be guiding our home learning students through their accredited online Counselling courses.
You’ll answer questions, provide feedback and mark assignments. All communication will be made via our online LMS (Learner Management System). All you need is a laptop or PC with an internet connection.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working individual, able to work autonomously to meet deadlines. Previous tutoring experience is not necessary as training will be provided.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate the relevant Counselling qualifications to be considered for the role.
However, for those lacking the required qualifications, there is an opportunity for a selection of applicants to enter our tutor training programme. The training takes place online and prepares you to meet level 3 and level 4 accreditation requirements in order to work as a tutor.
On completion of the training, the applicant will be eligible for a tutoring position with us on a freelance basis (based on passing a tutor suitability test).
Successful applicants would also be able to practise as a counsellor or work for other distance learning centres.

Tutors have the added benefit of guiding and mentoring learners through their learning journey to achieving their accreditation.
Applicants who complete our training programme have progressed onto part-time counselling roles, and have also gone on to work for other distance learning centres as well as tutoring for Association of Learning.
