Role overview

We are a well-established UK distance learning provider delivering accredited online counselling and therapy courses. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit several Online Counselling Tutors to support learners studying counselling-related qualifications via our virtual learning environment.

This is a fully remote role, ideal for qualified counsellors, psychotherapists, or experienced tutors seeking flexible online work alongside existing commitments.

Key responsibilities

As an Online Counselling Tutor, you will be responsible for marking student assessments and providing constructive feedback through our bespoke learning management system. This platform offers all the tools you’ll need to deliver high-quality support and guidance to your learners.

All teaching and communication with students will take place online only — there is no face-to-face teaching component.

Location: Remote – work from anywhere

Start Date: Immediate start

Essential experience & qualifications

• A relevant assessing qualification (e.g. CAVA or Assessors Award)
• Qualification in Internal Quality Assurance
• Relevant experience
• A strong commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and have evidence of own on-going CPD
• Valid DBS certificate

Desirable

• Experience in delivering distance learning
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE or Education Training Award
